                                                           soap decks nw Hardwood Soap Decks:  Developed especially for handcrafted soap by my wonderful husband to keep them out of a puddle of water.  These soap decks allow  the bar to dry out between uses, extending the life of the soap. Various hardwoods are used in the construction. Soap not included.

crocheted scrubbies nwCrocheted Scrubbies:  I LOVE all things handmade and these little gems are my latest  accomplishment.  Crocheted out of nylon mesh, these scrubbies work wonders on dirty pots and pans, counter tops,  bath tubs & anywhere you want to clean with a gentle, non-scratching action.  A good friend  of mine uses one on her feet and heels to remove that dry, unsightly skin!  I make up the pattern as I  crochet, so no two are alike .  The colors and size will vary; average size is a minimum of  4 inches in diameter.

washcloths nwHand knit or Crocheted Cotton Washcloths:  these wash cloths are hand knit or crocheted by a lovely (and lively) retired woman (do women get to retire?) in my neighborhood.   I thought I might as well keep her hands busy and give her a little extra spending money! Occasionally  I'll knit some myself, but until that time, let's keep her busy !  Wonderfully soft as a body washcloth, but strong enough to use as a dishcloth.  These cloths measure approximately  9" x 9".  They are created in assorted colors and varieties. The pattern varies according to my mood!

knitsack1Soap in a Knitsack: also known as soap-on-a-rope.  I take a bar of our handmade soap and knit a soap sack out of wool to enclose it.  As you use the soap, hot water and agitation causes  the wool to shrink to fit.  These have a very nice scrubbie texture, great for dry winter skin.  An attached hang tie makes it very easy to slip over a faucet to dry between uses.  The decorative beading and color of yarn will vary according to my mood. Size and shape of the soap will vary.  Fragrances available: Herbal Harmony, Allies Almond, Just Plain Goatmilk.
